Practical tip
Think “paint where supports are allowed.” Purple adds support. Red forbids support. Grey removes your paint so the slicer decides again.
Fuzzy Skin painting tool (Fill, Smart Fill Angle, Section View)
Fuzzy Skin painting lets you apply texture only where you want it, without changing the whole model.
Smart Fill Angle
Limits what the Fill tool considers “connected” based on surface angle. Smaller angles stay on similar faces; larger angles spill around corners.
Section View
Lets you cut the view to paint interior or hidden surfaces without rotating endlessly.

Brush vs Fill
- Brush: you paint exactly where the effect applies.
- Fill: flood-fills connected surfaces (controlled by Smart Fill Angle).
